The gym and working out can be so intimidating!!! 

Especially for me, I have struggled with my weight, eating right, and exercise since I was young. I avoided the gym, I didn’t want to feel overwhelmed with where to start and frustrated with what I couldn’t do. In 2019 I decided I was ready to make some big changes in my health but I knew I needed extra support, knowledge and encouragement from someone else. I am so glad I found Jorge at Seige athletics.

 

From day one, he has been nothing short of an amazing Personal Trainer coach and friend. A year ago during my first session I could barely squat, do a push up, or balance myself on one foot. Yes I could barely stand on one foot!!! (Not really) Jorge still gave  time to modify exercises to meet me where I was at. He has given me awesome feedback and information on how to support my goals outside of our sessions including healthier food choices I can make. 

 

 Jorge continues to push me and I am doing things I have not done in years at fifty years old .There are still many goals I want to reach, but I feel confident that with my work with Jorge I will not only meet my goals them but surpass them.

​​​"I used to think 300 meters on the rower was a lot or that 25 burpees were a killer... now I row more than 3000 meters and completed 120 burpees in one session."

I started training with Jorge in his small group training class a year ago. While Jorge's training is challenging, his training style brings a sense of comfort making it appealing to warriors of all training levels. He is always checking and correcting my form. He also suggests modifications if I am unable to perform a strict movement or complex olympic lift..  Just when you think you don't have it in you for 1 more squat, Jorge cheers you on and motivates you to give him not only 1 more but 10 more. I used to think 300 meters on the rower was a lot or that 25 burpees were a killer, Jorge has now trained me physically and mentally to row more than  3000 meters in one training session and just yesterday I completed 120 burpees during one session.

 

I also must add that Jorge pays close attention to any muscle strains or ailments. He will take time after class to assist me with stretching and has taught me stretching techniques that I now perform at home.

 

He motivates me to push myself not only physically but mentally. Jorge, thank you for changing my outlook on fitness. Dedication- discipline - consistency. 1% better everyday.

After about 10 years of doing crossfit I was suffering from multiple injuries that would leave me out of the gym and in pain for weeks on end. I had tried out several other boot camps/ HITT classes but would experience a lot of the same issues....and then I found Jorge. Jorge is a god sent, he is extremely knowledgeable and since I have been training with him one on one my hips no longer hurt when squatting, my shoulder feels great when pushing overhead and my back has never felt better during deadlifts. I also attend his amazing boot camp class where everything is calculated to give you your dream results. He provides nutritional advice and goes above and beyond to get you where you want to be. I have never been as fit as I am today and I owe it all to you Jorge. Thank you for all of your hard work over the years!

I have worked with multiple trainers over the years and Jorge is by far the most knowledgeable. He will make sure that your form is correct to ensure you are safely and effectively completing your workout. He is extremely experienced about the anatomy of our body and the nutritional part of staying healthy. He’s given me direction and helped me with my nutritional challenges. We discussed my struggles with food, and he put together a meal plan that was fit for me. Jorge has helped me focus on certain areas of my body that needed to get stronger to help me complete the workout without injuries. There were many times I wanted to give up, but Jorge challenged me both mentally and physically to finish. His encouragement and motivation will keep you going. One thing I didn’t do much before starting with Jorge was stretching. He taught me how to stretch correctly and how to stretch every muscle group. Training with Jorge has been nothing but positive. You can truly sense the dedication and passion he has for his job. I highly recommend Jorge for your health and fitness journey.
